Hello,

My name is Daria and I’ve always enjoyed looking at the colorful, energizing visual arts.

On top of that, browsing the internet, looking for eye candies that quench my thirst for beauty and harmony, became one of my daily activities ever since I first became globally connected.
.
As a result, Eye Candy Arts blog was started. To feature one inspiring image a day, along with their author.
.
For some reason this idea didn’t stick with me for a very long time and only a few posts were published. After neglecting this domain for a couple of years or so, I became sick with a flu that knocked me down for almost three weeks. To top the tough times off, I received some very unsettling news that very much affect my whole life. Bottom line, I had a very difficult time to keep my mind off everything that was troubling me when it dawned on me that Eye Candy Arts blog is an opportunity for a perfect outlet.

I could start my day with looking for an out-of-this-world image and by writing a few sentences about something that makes me feel good – or at least better. Two flies in one hit, so to speak: that’s something I enjoy doing – while at the same time – I will in the process deliberately focus the beginning of my day in a positive direction.
.
In all truth, this is my healing space. I share an image that most resonates with my heart on that morning, and share some random thoughts that make me smile. If in the process I manage to inspire another human being out there, or make someone’s day, that’s a huge bonus and the greatest reward for me, that I greatly appreciate!

P.S.: By the way, there are two wonderful websites out there from which I received the most inspiration throughout the last few years. You know the saying that the teacher appears when the student is ready, don’t you?

The first site I discovered was The Home of NOTES FROM THE UNIVERSE, written by Mike Dooley. His week-day emails made me smile more times than I can remember and after all these years I still faithfully read them every morning, expecting another fun message.
.
And the most uplifting spiritual teachers I’ve ever met in my life are Abraham and Esther & Jerry Hicks. Their enlivening message about life, eternity and Law of Attraction seems to be an endless source of inspiration and aha-monets for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
